During the meeting, issues of establishing cooperation and determining the prospects for bilateral trade and economic cooperation were discussed.
Nancy Tan noted that there is a certain interest on the part of the members of the Association to purchase high-quality products of the food industry of Uzbekistan, the news agency "Doone" reports.
"We are very pleased for the successfully implemented reforms in Uzbekistan, especially in order to create favorable conditions for exporting enterprises. We are confident that our bilateral trade turnover will reach $10 billion in the very near future," said Nancy Tan.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to hold a presentation on the export of food products of Uzbekistan to the Chinese markets for large Chinese associations of importers and business circles of Guangdong, Fujian and Hunan provinces, as well as training seminars for new exporters of Uzbekistan in such areas as entry into the Chinese market, registration of contracts and enterprises, finding potential partners, conducting business negotiations with Chinese buyers and participating in the annual IFA exhibitions.
