Negotiations were held with the Minister of Trade, Industry and Investment Promotion H.E. Qais Al Youssef, President of Oman Investment Agency H.E. Abdulsalam Al Murshidi, Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources H.E. Ali Al Abri, as well as with the heads of the country's leading companies, including Suhail Bahwan Group, Sohar International Bank, Oman Cables, Asyad Group and MB Holding.
The Uzbek side presented ready-made project initiatives in the fields of petrochemistry, energy, mining, mechanical engineering, agriculture, textile and food industries, logistics and tourism.
The practical aspects of Uzbekistan's investment climate were explained separately - guarantees of investor protection, tax and customs privileges, preferences in industrial zones and special conditions for strategic projects.
As a result of the negotiations, agreements were reached on launching new joint initiatives and expanding partnerships in priority sectors.
The parties confirmed their desire to strengthen long-term cooperation, paying special attention to joint investments, infrastructure development and diversification of trade and economic ties.
