Roman Golovchenko thanked the Uzbek side for supporting the development of cooperative projects.
"This applies to MTZ tractors, special equipment based on MAZ cars, and localization of the production of emergency rescue, quarry equipment," he said.
The intensification of cooperation in the field of agriculture is also on the agenda, the CIS Executive Committee reports.
"Members of your delegation will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the work of Belarusian dairy complexes, which are based entirely on domestic technologies," the Prime Minister drew attention.
Belarus is also ready to supply wooden house kits for the objects of the tourism industry of Uzbekistan and to finish them with its own materials and complete the furniture of its own production.
"We see potential in the supply of a wide range of other woodworking products. We can offer not only furniture, but also raw materials for the furniture industry of Uzbekistan. These are chipboard, MDF, fiberboard, and plywood," Roman Golovchenko said.
"In the field of healthcare, all the agreements reached have been taken into serious consideration, including the registration and supply of Uzbek medicines to Belarus, as well as the establishment of the production of pharmaceuticals at facilities in Uzbekistan. We are also ready to deepen cooperation in the field of education," the head of the Belarusian government added.
In 2021, the trade turnover between Belarus and Uzbekistan amounted to $301.9 million and increased by 7.8% to the level of 2020, exports - $245.4 million (an increase of 3.3%). The balance is positive - $188.9 million. The main positions of Belarusian exports in 2021 were specific goods, meat and meat products, medicines, vinyl chloride polymers, milk powder, diagnostic reagents. Cotton yarn, fresh and dried fruits, specific goods, rolled copper, bed linen formed the basis of imports of goods from Uzbekistan.
In January-April 2022, the trade turnover amounted to $121.2 million and increased by 32.5% compared to the corresponding period of 2021, exports - $92.6 million (an increase of 17.7%).
There are 103 organizations registered in Uzbekistan, the founders of which are residents of Belarus, as well as representative offices of Avtopromsnabspedishn LLC, Softclub LLC Amantimed LLC, Belvitunifarm OJSC.
On the territory of Uzbekistan, one assembly plant of Belarusian equipment has been established with the participation of Belarusian capital - the joint venture LLC "AMKODOR-AGROTEXMASH" (the founder is JSC "Amkodor"). Cooperation between JSC "MAZ" and LLC KRANTAS GROUP, JSC "MTZ" and JSC "Uzavtosanoat" continues in the field of production of vehicles and tractors.
The company "Marko" is implementing a joint project in Uzbekistan for the production of shoes. LLC "Svetlogorsk Welding Electrode Plant" is implementing an investment project in this country, for this purpose, IP LLC MONOLITH ASIA was created in Tashkent. A number of joint projects in the field of pharmaceuticals are also being implemented.
