A new tourist complex will be built on the Kamchik pass in Namangan region

    Tourism development and creation of new tourist locations continue in Namangan region. In particular, a modern road and recreation complex will be built on the section of the Kamchik pass that connects the valley with Tashkent.

    The project covers an area of 90 hectares and is being implemented by the Austrian Doppelmayr/Garaventa group.

    For reference: Doppelmayr / Garaventa is a large group of companies from Austria and Switzerland specializing in the design and manufacture of ropeways, gondolas, elevators, as well as systems for transporting passengers and cargo. The company has a wide portfolio of technologies and services and has designed more than 15,000 cable cars in 96 countries around the world.

    On October 13, khokim of Namangan region Shavkatjon Abdurazzokov met with representatives of Doppelmayr / Garaventa - Johannes Triebnik, Valery Yashin and Evgeny Kuprin. During the meeting, the importance of the project and the upcoming construction projects were discussed.

    It is worth noting that the project is being financed by one of Namangan's major entrepreneurs, the head of Aisha Group, Jobirkhon Kamalitdinov.
