Special attention is paid to the winter period: inspectors and researchers install feeding stations, set up artificial nests and shelters, clean reservoirs and provide additional feeding. These measures make it easier for animals to survive the winter and promote their natural reproduction.
Today, the park is home to 116 species of birds, 17 species of mammals and 15 species of reptiles. This demonstrates the restoration of biodiversity and the importance of the natural area for the protection of rare and endangered species.
The Aral Sea Region National Nature Park is one of the key sites for the protection of natural heritage and the conservation of rare and endangered species. The achieved positive results became possible thanks to the interaction of the park staff and relevant organizations, as well as the application of modern approaches to nature conservation.
