    Dozens of violations have been identified in the Aidar-Arnasai lake system and hundreds of illegal nets have been seized

    Employees of the Aidar-Arnasai Lake System Control Department of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change conducted 125 control activities in January-February 2025.

    94 offenses were recorded during the raids. The amount of fines imposed amounted to 423 million soums, and the damage to nature amounted to 28 million 136 thousand soums.

    In addition, from February 26 to 28, a raid was conducted on the territory of the Aidar-Arnasai Lakes to eliminate illegal fishing nets left in the water.

    According to the press service of the Ministry of Ecology, as a result, 100 nets with a length of 100 meters each were extracted from Lake Aydarkul in Navoi region, 70-80 nets with a length of 100 meters from Lake Tuzkan, and 50-60 nets with a length of 100 meters from Lake Arnasai.

    Control measures on the territory of the lakes are continuing.

    Earlier, during a raid on the territory of the Arnasai district of the Jizzakh region, the fact of illegal fishing was established, which caused damage to wildlife by 487 million soums.
