During the meeting, practical measures aimed at implementing the tasks defined by Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 24, 2025 No. UP-229 "On urgent measures to improve the environmental situation in the city of Tashkent" were considered.
A special emphasis was placed on systematic work to improve the local environmental situation, primarily on reducing dust levels near construction sites.
In this regard, entrepreneurs will be instructed to equip construction sites with high-power dispersion equipment and ensure its uninterrupted operation. Such systems can effectively suppress dust emissions, increase air humidity, and create safer conditions around active construction areas.
It was noted that the current mechanism of interdepartmental interaction is an operational, targeted and technically verified tool that promotes coordinated actions by government agencies and businesses. This approach creates conditions for improving the environmental situation, especially in areas with a high concentration of construction work.
Additional measures to enhance environmental safety were also identified during the meeting, including:
conducting comprehensive raid measures to monitor compliance with dust suppression requirements at construction sites;
identification and restriction of movement of freight transport without awnings, vehicles with excessive emissions, as well as vehicles entering the city in violation of the established procedure;
regulation of cargo transportation in accordance with the provisions of Decree no. UP-229, aimed at creating equal competitive conditions and transparent control mechanisms;
Increased monitoring of incoming and outgoing vehicles on construction sites as potential sources of dust.
The implementation of the updated procedure will help to stabilize the environmental situation, increase safety and ensure compliance with the principles of transparency and fair competition in urban infrastructure.
