UzCharmExpo-Eurasia is the point where professionalism and experience, supply and demand meet! Held twice a year - in spring and autumn - the exhibition has established itself as one of the largest professional events in Central Asia. Year after year, it serves as an effective platform for attracting global brands to the country, increasing export potential, establishing mutually beneficial cooperation, establishing cooperative ties and enriching business books with new contacts.
This year, the exhibition expands its horizons by teaming up with Zhejiang Donnor International Exhibition Co., the largest exhibition company in the leather and footwear industry in China. An exclusive agreement was signed with the company, according to which a delegation of Chinese businessmen representing their country with separate stands will come from China to UzCharmExpo-Eurasia-2023 to participate.
Also, the Association "Uzcharmsanoat" continues effective cooperation in exhibition activities with the directorate of the International Exhibition ShoesStar, which allows to expand the participation of companies from the Eurasian continent.
Innovative technological solutions for the leather and shoe industries were presented in the pavilions of the Uzexpocentre Fairgrounds by manufacturers from Germany and Italy, in particular companies such as Tecon, Italprogetti, PratikaGroup, Vittoria Makina, ALPE and others.
Shoe soles of high quality and in a wide range will be presented at the exhibition, including a Turkish manufacturer. Also, the International Exhibition of Shoe Industry Suppliers Aysaf and the professional magazine Turkish Leather will demonstrate their products and services with hotel stands.
The exposition of localized products is also presented separately at the exhibition. It is worth noting that from 2017 to 2022, more than 250 types of products, including raw materials, components and materials, were localized in Uzbekistan. This trend makes it possible to reduce imports and increase the competitiveness of leather and shoe products in the domestic and foreign markets.
This year, the list of localized products will be replenished with another 60 items of goods, and the volume of production of localized products will reach 1.462 trillion soums. The best samples of products mastered in 5 years are presented at the exhibition. Also, 5 universities of Uzbekistan and the School of Design, which train highly qualified specialists for the leather and footwear industry, took their places in the pavilions of UzCharmExpo-Eurasia-2023.
The geography of the guests of the current exhibition is represented by Italy, Great Britain, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Belgium, Turkey, Hungary, Poland, Latvia, China, the Republic of Korea, Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and other countries.
In total, about 600 domestic and 70 foreign companies and organizations take part in the next 15th exposition. The number of visitors to the exhibition is growing every time. It is expected that more than 5,000 people will visit this one. The exhibition will not only acquaint guests and participants with the production potential of all regions of Uzbekistan and the Eurasian continent, but will also become a dialogue platform where international experts will be able to comprehensively discuss current trends and trends, technologies and opportunities for the production of globally competitive products in the industry.
UzCharmExpo-Eurasia-2023 also provides a unique opportunity for participants to hold constructive G2G, B2B and G2B negotiations on the creation of joint ventures, attracting investments and expanding the export potential of the industry right on the sidelines.
The exhibition also included a fashion show of young designers and university students of the country.
Also, within the framework of the exhibition, a number of documents are being prepared for signing to strengthen cooperation with various countries in the areas of increasing the supply of products abroad, especially to Europe, the introduction of international quality certificates and training, the implementation of new investment projects.
