The Council of National Coordinators of the SCO Member States has started its work in Tashkent

    On January 25, 2022, a regular meeting of the Council of National Coordinators of the member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) under the chairmanship of the Republic of Uzbekistan began its work in Tashkent.

    The opening of the event, which takes place in a hybrid format, was attended by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Gayrat Fozilov, SCO Secretary General Zhang Ming, Director of the Executive Committee of the SCO Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure Ruslan Mirzaev.

    During the meeting, representatives of the SCO member states exchanged views on the preparations for the upcoming meetings of the Council of Heads of State and other statutory bodies of the Organization, and also discussed the draft list of documents proposed for signing.

    It is planned to familiarize the national coordinators with the achievements of Uzbekistan in the IT sphere and the tourism potential of the country.
