The International Military Medical Conference of the CIS countries is being held in Tashkent

    On September 25, the Tashkent-2024 International Military Medical Conference within the framework of the Commonwealth of Independent States began its work in the capital. The event is attended by heads of military medical services and leading specialists of the Ministries of Defense of the CIS member states.

    At the beginning of the conference, the guests visited the Central Military Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Defense and the Military Medical Academy of the Armed Forces, where they got acquainted with the activities and conditions created in them.

    Further, a practical meeting was held at the Academy of the Armed Forces under the chairmanship of the First Deputy Minister of Defense, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan. During this conference, issues of further cooperation and development of this area were discussed.

    The First Deputy Minister of Defense - Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces emphasized that the visit of the participants of the international military medical conference to our country would be effective in all respects, and stressed that the exchange of experience in this regard would be effective for each country.

    The Tashkent-2024 International Military Medical Conference within the framework of the Commonwealth of Independent States will last three days and a number of practical events are planned within its framework. These include more than a dozen master-class surgical operations with the participation of experienced doctors from the Central Military Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Defense.

    The delegation of the Russian Federation is also scheduled to visit the city of Samarkand and get acquainted with the activities of the medical Academy, which operated on a union-wide scale during the Second World War.
