Based on the results of a special study conducted by Traffic Safety officers together with members of the Kengash, it was deemed appropriate to reduce the maximum permitted speed on all streets within the small ring road to 60 km/h.
In addition, in order to fully ensure traffic safety, prevent and reduce traffic accidents related to deaths, as well as create comfortable conditions for traffic participants, the maximum permitted speed on some central streets will be reduced to 50 km/h.
We are talking about separate sections of Alisher Navoi, Makhtumkuli, Amir Timur, Malaya Koltsevaya, Islam Karimov, Taras Shevchenko, Babur and Furkat streets, as well as a roundabout near Amir Temur Square.
