The conference was attended by military attaches from foreign countries accredited in our country, well-known scientists, academicians and professors of the Academy of Sciences and higher educational institutions, teachers of the Academy of the Armed Forces, leading experts in military history from higher military educational institutions of the country, filmmakers, youth, as well as representatives of the media.
The conference was opened by the Minister of Defense of Uzbekistan, Major General Shukhrat Halmukhamedov. In his opening remarks, he explained the goals and objectives of this conference and emphasized the importance of educating a new generation of soldiers of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan with high potential, discipline and a sense of responsibility, faithful to national values and ready to honorably defend the peace and tranquility of our country, as well as turning the heritage of the Temurids into an integral part of the military education and upbringing system.
The conference discussed topics such as "Amir Temur's military strategy", "Socio-cultural and military-political situation in the era of Amir Temur and the Temurids", "Amir Temur's skill in conquering fortresses" and others.
The speakers paid special attention to an in-depth analysis of the art of war, strategy and the foundations of statehood that were formed during the Timurid era, as well as the possibilities of their integration into modern processes of military education, upbringing and training.
Indeed, Amir Temur's rich military and spiritual heritage is being actively studied not only in Central Asian countries, but also in Europe and other Western countries, which is assessed as a significant event.
Within the framework of the event, along with scientific reports, discussions were held, an exhibition of historical documents and artifacts, and presentations of special publications were organized. Of course, holding a large-scale international scientific and practical conference is not only a step into the scientific study of the legacy of Amir Temur, but also an important contribution to the international popularization of the historical heritage of Uzbekistan.
The artistic part of the event featured a concert program prepared by the creative team of the Central Song and Dance Ensemble of the Armed Forces, the Turon Military Theater, military personnel of the Ministry of Defense Command, as well as a separate exemplary military orchestra of the Ministry of Defense.
