At the opening of the event, the message of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the participants was announced. In particular, it was stated that the dialogue between the heads of special services of the Central Asian States would serve to develop joint approaches and effective mechanisms for ensuring regional security.
During the meeting, the main focus was on developing common approaches to assessing modern threats and challenges to the security of the countries of the region and improving the effectiveness of cooperation between special services to neutralize them.
The parties discussed topical issues of regional security, joint counteraction to terrorism, extremism, drug and arms trafficking, transnational crime, information and cybersecurity, as well as other areas of cooperation of mutual interest.
The event became an important milestone in the development of security cooperation between the Central Asian countries and marked the beginning of regular meetings of the heads of special services in order to further strengthen peace and stability in our region.
