Uzbek-Dutch political consultations were held in Tashkent

    On April 25, 2024, the next round of political consultations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Kingdom of the Netherlands took place in Tashkent.

    During the political consultations, the parties reviewed the current state and priority areas of Uzbek-Dutch relations

    During the meeting, the issues of intensifying political dialogue, realizing the existing potential for cooperation in the trade, economic and investment spheres, developing interparliamentary contacts, strengthening cultural and humanitarian cooperation, as well as expanding ties between the leading scientific and educational institutions of the two countries took a central place.

    The agenda of the talks also includes issues of building partnership in the textile and agricultural sectors. The mutual interest in increasing the indicators of bilateral trade and the implementation of joint projects was confirmed.

    Special attention was paid to the schedule and organizational aspects of upcoming joint events of a bilateral and interregional nature, including in the Central Asia-European Union format.

    The sides also exchanged views on other issues of the bilateral and regional agenda, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan reports.
