The forum
was attended by representatives of educational institutions of the judicial and
legal system of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey, academies under
the Prosecutor General's offices, as well as international organizations and
experts, the Dunyo news agency reports.
Chairman of
the Supreme Judicial Council of Uzbekistan Kholmumin Yedgorov stressed that
training personnel for the judicial profession, as well as professional
development of current judges, is a difficult task that requires a special
approach and strict adherence to high standards.
According
to him, the effectiveness of justice primarily depends on how deeply trained
and professional candidates for the position of judge are. At the same time,
each country has its own experience and approaches in this area.
In recent
years, Uzbekistan has been implementing large-scale reforms aimed at developing
the judicial system, training future judges and improving the skills of
existing ones.
The forum
also discussed the use of artificial intelligence in the training of judicial
and law enforcement personnel, the legal basis for its implementation in the
educational process, as well as the use of digital technologies.
