The delegations of the parties were headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bahromjon Aloyev and State Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar Sultan bin Saad Al-Murayhi.
The participants of the consultations discussed proposals for further intensification of Uzbek-Qatari cooperation in the fields of politics and diplomacy, trade and economy, transport, energy, science and culture.
The sides exchanged views on international and regional policy issues, including the situation in Afghanistan, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan reports.
