According to the Decree, the National Energy Efficiency Agency (Agency) will be established under the Cabinet of Ministers.
One of the main tasks of the Agency is to implement a unified state policy in the field of energy efficiency improvement, develop and regulate incentive and impact measures in this area.
Starting from July 1, 2025, subsidies will be allocated based on the procedure established by the Agency to compensate for 20 percent of the cost of energy audits of residential premises, as well as the cost of solar panels and solar collectors and 40 percent of the cost of heat pumps (air, water and geothermal), but not more than 50 times the cost of solar energy.
A digital energy efficiency improvement platform will be launched by September 1, 2025.
An extra-budgetary Fund for stimulating and supporting energy Efficiency will be established under the Agency.
"Green" technology energy efficiency standards for manufacturers and importers will be implemented by October 1, 2025.
