Relevant
amendments have been made to the Unified Regulation "On the Procedure for
Licensing Certain Types of Activities through a special Electronic
System", approved by Cabinet Resolution No. 80 dated February 21, 2022.
The changes are provided for by Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 271 dated
May 21, 2026.
According
to the new requirements, from July 1, 2026, buildings and premises where
non-governmental educational services are provided must be equipped with video
surveillance cameras that enable online streaming and equipped with audio
recording devices.
At the same
time, video recordings must be stored for at least six months.
The
Ministry of Preschool and School Education is taking the necessary measures to
ensure that both existing and newly established non-governmental educational
organizations comply with these requirements, as well as to ensure the smooth
operation of installed systems.
It is noted
that in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On
Licensing, Licensing and notification Procedures", violation of licensing
requirements and conditions may become the basis for revocation of the license
to carry out educational activities.
