    Rains and temperature drop to +8 degrees are expected in Uzbekistan this week

    After a long period of dry and warm weather, when the daytime air temperature rose to 27-29 degrees Celsius, in some places to 30-32 degrees Celsius, on March 23, the removal of humid and relatively cool air mass began in the western regions of the republic. It rained in Karakalpakstan, Khorezm, and Navoi regions, sometimes heavily.

    According to the Uzhydromet service, on March 24, a humid air mass spread to the entire territory of Uzbekistan. There will be heavy rains in the republic, possibly with thunderstorms. In places, the wind increases to 15-20 m/s. The air temperature will be in the range of 12-15 degrees Celsius.

    The unstable weather pattern will continue until the end of the working week. Rains will remain in places on the territory of the republic, and rains are unlikely only on March 26-28 in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Khorezm, Bukhara, and Navoi regions.

    The temperature background will gradually decrease these days and will be 4-6 degrees Celsius at night and 8-13 degrees Celsius during the day.

    Precipitation will occur in the foothills and mountainous regions (rain, possible transition to snow), on March 24-25, heavy in places.

    Rural flooding events are possible in the foothills and mountainous regions of the republic.

    There is an avalanche danger in the mountainous regions of the republic on March 24-25.

    In Tashkent: March 24 - rain. The wind is 3-8 m/s, possibly increasing to 10-12 m/s. The temperature is 15-17 degrees Celsius.

    Rain on March 25. The wind is 5-10 m/s. The temperature is 6-8°C at night, 12-14°C during the day.

    March 26-27 - rain at times. The wind is 5-10 m/s. The temperature is 4-6 degrees Celsius at night, decreasing to 8-10 degrees Celsius during the day.
