The concept aims to achieve the following indicators by 2030:
· the formation of an ecological culture among 3.3 million kindergarten students and 4.2 million schoolchildren;
· strengthening the professional education system among 400,000 students and 1.9 million university students of environmental education and upbringing;
· improving the environmental culture of 90% of employees of government agencies, enterprises and institutions.
Free training courses aimed at improving the environmental knowledge of employees of government agencies and organizations are being opened. And non-governmental non-profit organizations are annually provided with a state social order for the implementation of projects related to the improvement of environmental culture.
The achievement of targets (indicators) is taken into account in the key performance indicators (KPIs) of ministries and departments in the field of ecology, climate change, forestry and tourism.
In connection with Uzbekistan's accession to the Convention on Access to Information, Public Participation in Decision-making and Access to Justice in Environmental Matters (Aarhus Convention, Aarhus, Denmark, December 25, 1998), from December 1, 2025, the Ministry of Ecology ensures the openness of the database of state environmental monitoring to the public and places it contains the following data:
· about trees and seedlings (their addresses, persons responsible for their care, types of seedlings, etc.) planted annually as part of the nationwide Yasil Makon project;
· about applications submitted in order to obtain a document of a permissive nature by legal entities and individuals for cutting down trees and shrubs not included in the state forest fund (about applicants, the number of trees, their types and addresses), and about public hearings on cutting down trees (about date, time, address and results);
· about persons, who violated the moratorium imposed on the mining of non-metallic materials in reservoirs;
· on the results of public hearings on the possible impact of planned and (or) planned or ongoing economic and other activities on the environment;
· about violations of the law revealed as a result of raids, inspections, monitoring conducted in the field of environmental protection and the environment, as well as measures taken to eliminate them, etc.
Starting in 2025, it is planned to carry out:
· The republican eco-championship "New Tree - new breath" is held annually among various segments of the population, students and students.;
· Monthly campaigns are held under the slogan "Let's turn the mahalla into a garbage-free territory."
The document also approved:
· Roadmap for the implementation in 2025-2026 of the Concept of improving Environmental Culture for the period up to 2030;
· The targets (indicators) expected from the adoption of the Concept.
