According to the Decree, the El-Yurt Umidi Foundation was transformed into the El-Yurt Umidi Foundation for the Training of promising personnel under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The main objectives of the El-Yurt Umidi Foundation are defined:
studying the need for modern-minded, patriotic, and knowledgeable professional staff;
implementation of measures for the professional orientation of candidates in accordance with the needs of ministries, departments and strategic enterprises of economic sectors;
making proposals to create favorable working conditions and social protection for scholarship holders after their return to Uzbekistan, as well as providing them with comprehensive support;
effective use of the potential of the fellows in order to further enhance the positive image of the country in the international arena.
From September 1, 2025:
The list of candidates for targeted internships is formed from among employees of ministries, departments, and strategic enterprises in economic sectors.;
The foreign organizations where the internship is organized, as well as its terms, are determined by the customers, the Agency for Civil Service Development and the El-Yurt Umidi Foundation;
Ministries, departments and strategic enterprises of economic sectors will create appropriate conditions for specialists sent for a targeted internship to study a foreign language required during its completion.
