The law provides for amendments to article 244 of the Criminal Code, which establishes responsibility for training for the purpose of committing mass riots and financing these activities.

According to the law, a person is trained in order to carry out mass riots, including the acquisition of knowledge, practical skills and skills in committing mass riots, learning during training how to handle weapons, explosive devices, explosives, toxic substances, other substances and objects that pose a danger to others., –

is punishable by a fine in the amount of 300 to 600 rubles or correctional labor for up to 3 years or imprisonment from 5 to 7 years.

It is also established that a person who has committed this crime is exempt from criminal liability if he voluntarily informed the authorities about the training, actively contributed to the disclosure of the committed crime or the identification of other persons who have completed such training, carried out, organized or financed the training, as well as the places where it was conducted, and if his actions do not include other elements of the crime.

This Law shall enter into force from the date of its official publication.
