Earlier, 231,014 subscribers across the republic were notified via SMS messages from the short number "2100" of Hududiy elektr tarmoqlari JSC about the total accounts receivable in the amount of 20.1 billion soums accumulated for waste disposal services. Subscribers were given a 5-day deadline to repay the debt, during which 9.4 billion soums were paid.
To date, the republic remains in debt in the amount of 18.2 billion soums.
The Agency recalled that the restriction will be lifted immediately after full repayment of the debt.
Issues of payment discipline for waste collection and disposal services are regulated by Law No. 1044. According to the law, by the 3rd day of each month, information about debtors from the Toza makon Agency's electronic billing system is transferred to the Hududiy elektr tarmoqlari JSC system.
This procedure does not apply to debts incurred before June 30, 2025.
Starting from July 1, 2025, the arrears are taken into account, and from November 5, 2025, the specified procedure is applied.
Earlier it was reported that starting from January 1, 2026, payment for waste management services will be made only in online format - for the services actually provided.
Citizens can submit suggestions or complaints related to waste management and quality of services around the clock by calling the short number 1205 of the Agency for Waste Management and Circular Economy Development.
