It is noted that the project is being implemented in cooperation with "Everbright Environmental Energy Namangan" LLC and Chinese investors, and will be built on 10 hectares out of a total land area of 15 hectares.
The event was attended by the Hokim of Namangan region Shavkatdjon Abdurazzakov, foreign partners, elders and representatives of the public. The Hokim noted that this project will make an important contribution to the economy and ecological stability of the region in the future.
According to the data, after the plant is commissioned, it will process 547.5 thousand tons of municipal solid waste annually and generate 310 million kWh of electricity. Of this, 254 million kWh will be supplied to the grid, which will cover the annual electricity needs of approximately 300 thousand residents. In addition, 180 new jobs will be created as a result of the enterprise's launch.
Currently, an average of 1,450 tons of waste is collected daily in the region, totaling 529.3 thousand tons annually. In the first phase of the project, waste from 6 districts will be delivered to the reloading station in Turakurgan district, where it will be sorted and then transported to the factory.
