A departmental act on amendments and additions to the list of national and internationally recognized certificates determining the level of knowledge of foreign languages and general education subjects (registration No. 3515-2 dated June 2, 2026) was registered with the Ministry of Justice.

According to these changes and additions:

Now the level of compliance with the TOEFL iBT certificate in English will be determined by a 1-6-point system.;

When applying to bachelor's degree programs with a foreign language in their subjects, applicants with a nationally or internationally recognized B1 level certificate will be awarded 75 percent of the maximum score in this subject.;

When paying allowances to teaching staff, the validity period of the TKT, TESOL, TEFL and TESL certificates in English will be taken into account.;

Teachers of vocational education organizations for teaching special subjects in a foreign language will be paid monthly allowances to their official salary in the amount of 50 percent for a B2 level certificate and 100 percent for a C1 level certificate (national or internationally recognized standard).;

Teachers will receive a bonus if they receive 750 or more points in the mathematics section of the Digital SAT certificate.;

Music and physical education teachers in general secondary schools will receive a supplement for certificates of B+ and above.
