The meeting was co-chaired by Ilzat Kasimov, Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Phan Thi Thang, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation. Special attention was paid to the expansion of trade and economic ties, as well as the development of cooperation in the fields of agriculture, transport and logistics, education and tourism.
Following the meeting, the Protocol of the 8th meeting of the Uzbek-Vietnamese Intergovernmental Commission was signed, providing for a set of agreed measures to implement joint projects and initiatives.
