The annual Melon Festival is a unique event combining the best varieties of sweet melons, national traditions and Uzbek hospitality.
Guests will enjoy tasting of rare varieties of Khiva melons, folk games, concerts, craft bazaars and a real oriental holiday atmosphere.
Theatrical performances, a puppet theater and a display of national costumes, exhibitions of national dishes, Khorezm bread and handicrafts, live performances by art groups and folklore groups, master classes, as well as an exhibition of works of fine and applied art will be organized.
The main events of the festival will be held in the tourist complexes "Ichan-Kala" on August 8-9 and "Arda Khiva" on August 10 with gala concerts with the participation of local and foreign stars.
