    Three people have been confirmed dead in Japan after a rescue helicopter crashed

    Three people died as a result of the crash of a helicopter of the Japanese rescue service, which occurred on Sunday over the Sea of Japan near the island of Tsushima. This was reported by the Japanese Public Television (NHK).

    According to rescuers, three people were killed in the incident - an 86-year-old patient who was supposed to be transported by rescue helicopter to Fukuoka Prefecture, her relative and one of the doctors accompanying her. Three more crew members on board the helicopter were found conscious by rescuers and taken to the hospital.

    Communication with the helicopter was lost when it was 10 km from the local airport where it was supposed to land. It was not reported what caused the tragedy, an investigation is underway. tass.ru.
