This was stated at a press conference held in AIMK with the participation of officials of the State Committee for Family and Women's Affairs, the Prosecutor General's Office, the Ministries of Internal Affairs and Justice.
The document also provides for the introduction of a number of regulations, including:
- determination of the issuance by the court of a warrant for the provision of state protection to victims of harassment and violence for up to one year;
- strengthening responsibility for forcing a woman to abort a fetus;
- strengthening of responsibility for intentional harm to the health of a woman who is a close relative;
- definition of criminal liability for disclosure of information reflecting the confidential side of a person's life, degrading his honor and dignity.
In 2021, the Ministry of Justice developed the electronic platform of legal consultants "Gender Support". This platform hosts an information base on various topics aimed at improving women's legal literacy.
At mobile receptions organized as part of the "Shock Two Months on Women's Rights", the problems of over 1,400 women were heard.
