The exercises are being conducted at the "Ghurumsaray" training ground located within the Eastern Military District. According to reports, special attention is being paid to increasing the combat readiness of the military personnel, strengthening modern military skills, and exchanging mutual experience.

During the grand opening ceremony, it was emphasized that these exercises serve to strengthen military ties between the two nations and play a vital role in enhancing the knowledge and practical skills of the servicemen.

Notably, this marks the seventh time these exercises have been organized as part of the cooperation between the Armed Forces of the two countries. Held regularly since 2019, this joint training is aimed at the consistent development of military cooperation between Uzbekistan and India.

The "Dustlik–2026" joint exercise will continue until April 24.
