Today, the World Day of Uzbek Kurash is celebrated all over the world. For several years this day was celebrated informally, but since 2017 this date has received an official status, moreover, as the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed a decree "On the celebration of the National Kurash Day on September 6".
According to the press service of the Asian-Oceanic Kurash Confederation, the upcoming Asian Kurash Championship among adults this year will be held on March 17-21 in the capital of Tajikistan - Dushanbe.
