The logo of the championship will have the words "Khush omaded, Kurash". In the history of the development of the national sport of kurash on an international scale, continental or world championships have never been held in Tajikistan.
The capital of this country, located at an altitude of 823 meters above sea level, is distinguished by its beautiful foothill nature, historical monuments, and, of course, rainbow hospitality.
The Continental Championship, organized by the Asian-Oceanic Confederation of Kurash, the National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan, the Khokimiyat of Dushanbe and the Kurash Federation of Tajikistan, in a certain sense, will fulfill the task of preparing for the Asian Games, which will be held in September this year in Hangzhou.
Within the framework of the championship, it is planned to hold a regular meeting and congress of the executive committee of the Asian-Oceanic Confederation of Kurash, UZA reports.
The organizers are carrying out large-scale work aimed at ensuring that the Kurasha holiday is held at a high level, taking into account sanitary requirements in the conditions of a pandemic.
The competitions will be held in the sports complex "Dushanbe Universal". This complex was commissioned in 2020, designed for three thousand spectator seats and is considered the largest sports complex in the country.
