March 20 - World Earth Day

    Environment 20 March 2024 1648

World Earth Day is celebrated all over the world on March 20. The date falling on the day of the vernal equinox has been celebrated on the initiative of the United Nations since 1971.

The holiday is preceded by Tree Day, celebrated since the second half of the XIX century, when activists planted saplings of trees and shrubs all over the world.

Earth Day is an important reminder of the need to take care of our planet.

The Ministry of Ecology calls on everyone to contribute to environmental protection by participating in tree planting, reducing plastic consumption and saving water. Let's take care of our common home together - planet Earth.
