Adaderana: 15 people died in Sri Lanka when a bus fell into a chasm

    A bus plunged into a chasm in southern Sri Lanka, killing at least 15 people. This was reported by the Adaderana portal.

    The tragedy occurred on the main road from the city of Ella in the evening of September 4. The bus left the highway and fell off a cliff to a depth of about 150 m.

    According to police, there were 30 passengers on the bus, including the driver. Among the dead are members of the city council of the resort town of Tangalle, who were returning from a trip around the island.
