The Cinematography Agency and Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Plant JSC signed a memorandum of cooperation

    The delegation of the Cinematography Agency under the Ministry of Culture, consisting of representatives of the cinema sector of our country, visited the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Plant.

    Uzbek cinematographers visited the museum "History of NMMC", where they got acquainted with the history of the plant, new enterprises launched in recent years, as well as with the richest mineral resources, ancient history and modernity of the Kyzylkum region.

    A meeting was held at the Farhad Palace of Culture in Navoi between the Chairman of the Board - General Director of NMMC JSC K.Sanakulov and representatives of the delegation headed by the Director of the Cinematography Agency Sh.Rizaev.

    The meeting discussed the planned work to ensure the implementation of the program for the creation of films of the "Living History" cycle in 2024-2027, approved by the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures for the further development of the field of cinematography and the creation of a cycle of films dedicated to the history of the country" dated June 5, 2024. In particular, the program of the "Living History" film cycle includes 54 film projects, of which 21 are feature films and 33 are artistic and journalistic films.

    Following the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Cinematography Agency and Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine JSC to ensure the implementation of this program and the creation of historical films for our people.
