Baharden Mohamed Fazal: "Ichan Kala is the best place I have ever seen"

    On July 26, the expert of the Crescent Rating company from Singapore, Baharden Mohamed Fazal, visited the Khorezm region. This visit took place as part of the recognition of Khiva as the tourism capital of the Islamic world in 2024.

    The purpose of the invitation of Baharden Mohamed Fazal to Khorezm was to exchange views on the effective organization of planned major international events, as well as to familiarize him with the tourism potential of Khorezm

    During the visit, Baharden Mohamed Fazal studied the possibilities of pilgrimage tourism on the territory of the Ichan Kala State Museum Reserve.

    "This is my first visit to Ichan-Kala," Mr. Fazal said. - Amazing atmosphere, historical appearance, preserved to this day for future generations. I can say with confidence that the Ichan-Kala Fortress is one of the best places I have ever seen. I recommend everyone to come to Khiva and enjoy the beauty of Ichan-Kala."

    The expert also visited the Juma Mosque, the mausoleums of Said Allauddin and Pahlavan Mahmud, and also visited the Farovon Hotel.

    In addition, the expert met with Khiva Khokim Temur Davletov and discussed the rich potential and prospects of the city in the field of tourism. He also gave his advice on the effective organization of major international events planned in connection with Khiva receiving the status of "Tourist Capital of the Islamic World - 2024".

    At the end of the visit, memorable gifts were presented to the guest on behalf of the Khiva city Khokimiyat.

    According to the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan, in 2021 Uzbekistan took the 16th place in the rating of "Favorable destinations for Muslim tourists" (22nd place in 2019).
