The President of Belarus visits the New Uzbekistan Park

    The President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, who is in Uzbekistan on an official visit, visited the New Uzbekistan Park on February 8, accompanied by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

    The distinguished guest laid flowers at the Independence Monument.

    Alexander Lukashenko got acquainted with the history of the construction of this majestic park. He was told about the great scientists, heroic commanders, and our Jadid ancestors depicted there.

    Members of the delegation drew attention to the ideological and architectural solution of the New Uzbekistan Complex.

    The sports and children’s playgrounds built here, an amphitheater, fountains, rare ornamental trees, and flowers are pleasing to the eye.

    This complex, which personifies the deep history of national statehood, tolerance, hospitality, and the creative potential of our people, is always crowded with visitors.
