50 volumes of the series "Cultural heritage of Uzbekistan in the collections of the world" have been transferred to the Library of Congress of the United States

    The official ceremony of handing over 50 volumes of the book albums of the series "Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan in the collections of the World", published by the World Society for the Study, Preservation and Popularization of Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan (WOSCU), took place at the Library of Congress of the United States.

    This event was an important step in the development of international cooperation in the field of studying, preserving and popularizing the rich cultural heritage of Uzbekistan.

    During the ceremony, it was emphasized that the creation of this unique series reflects the state policy of Uzbekistan aimed at preserving the national historical and cultural heritage, as well as its active promotion at the global level.

    The book album series is a large-scale collection of information about works of art related to Uzbekistan and located in museums and private collections around the world. These publications play a key role in the study and preservation of cultural heritage, as well as in its transmission to future generations.

    Ms. Joan Weeks, Head of the Middle East Department at the Library of Congress, noted the significant contribution of Uzbekistan's cultural heritage to world civilization and stressed that the transfer of this collection would be an important step in strengthening international scientific and cultural cooperation. She also expressed confidence that these books will become a valuable source for researchers and scientists all over the world.
