Carnegie Europe is ready to conduct joint research on global issues

    In Brussels (Belgium), members of the delegation of Uzbekistan headed by the Head of the Development Strategy Center E. Tulyakov held a meeting with the leadership of Carnegie Europe, Ms. Rosa Balfour (Director of the analytical center) and Ms. Lisa Kurukulasuriya (Senior Development Manager).

    The main activities of Carnegie Europe are conducting research on global and regional issues, European foreign policy, building relations with Europe's neighbors, climate change and environmental transformations, as well as other issues of a socio-economic and political nature.

    According to Ms. Lisa Kurukulasuriya, the evaluation of Carnegie Europe's activities is based on feedback from subscribers of Internet channels and customers on research conducted in different directions.

    At the same time, the methods of communicating research results are "round tables", training, seminars, publications on the Internet and social channels by the efforts of a professional publishing team, posting information in Strategic news blocks like "Jude ask", etc.

    At the meeting, the Director of the Development Strategy Center, E. Tulyakov, acquainted Carnegie Europe representatives with the areas of research and the scope of the Development Strategy Center's activities.

    Issues of cooperation with Carnegie Europe were discussed. In particular, special attention was paid to the implementation of promising projects to solve problems of a natural and climatic nature arising from the goals and objectives of the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026.

    Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to conduct joint research in such areas as climate change, water scarcity, environmental pollution, and the use of clean energy, the information service of the Development Strategy Center reports.
