The Russian Fishing Company (RRPC) has entered into strategic cooperation with the Uzbek company Fish Yard. The new joint venture Far Eastern Fisheries, registered in Vladivostok, specializes in fish processing.

Ost Invest Holding LLC, which is the founder of RRPC, acquired 50% of the company's shares, the remaining 50% belong to Fish Yard, the industry portal reports logistics.ru.

RRPC owns significant quotas for fish production in Russia and is one of the leading players in the market. According to experts, the creation of a joint venture can facilitate both the export of Russian fish to Uzbekistan and the import of fishing equipment to Russia.

In addition, the PKK is actively increasing the production of ready-to-eat fish products, which reflects the growth of consumption in domestic and foreign markets. Uzbekistan, which focuses on the development of aquaculture, represents the potential for expanding the activities of the PKK in Central Asia.
