Four years ago, the Head of the State laid the first stone in the foundation of the institution. The complex was put into operation this month.

The clinic is designed to serve 3.6 thousand inpatients and 22.4 thousand outpatient patients. Children with congenital and chronic diseases are diagnosed and treated here based on high technologies. The departments of pediatric cardiac surgery, minimally invasive surgery, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology, maxillofacial surgery, orthopedics and gynecology are equipped with modern equipment.

The hospital employs about 300 people. Professors and teachers, medical staff have increased their experience in leading clinics in such countries as South Korea, Japan, Austria, and Russia.

The President visited children being treated here, talked with their mothers.

“A child is a mother's happiness. We will do everything possible to preserve this happiness so that sick children recover faster, and healthy children do not get sick”, Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.

The Institute has modern conditions for the development of medical education, science and international cooperation.

The Head of the state also met with students of the Institute who are undergoing an internship here. The need was noted for increasing the number of classes on information technologies in medicine.
