The inability to fully receive visual information is the main problem for visually impaired and blind people: they cannot fully satisfy their cognitive, aesthetic and other personal needs. A blind person does not get full pleasure from visiting a cinema, museum, art gallery or theater. Nevertheless, such a problem can be partially solved thanks to the oral or written description of visual images – typhlo-ocommentation, or audio transcription.
Every year, the Foundation for the Development of Culture and Art under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan conducts a series of charity performances with typhoid commentary for blind and visually impaired children and adults in theaters of the country. In February 2021, a series of performances was organized for students of specialized boarding schools and the society of the blind, voiced by the actress and typhoon commentator of the highest category Irina Bezrukova. The program includes such productions as "The Golden Dragon" at the Ilkhom Theater, "It's Me, Edith Piaf" at the Youth Theater of Uzbekistan, "How Masha baked a Bun" at the National Puppet Theater of Uzbekistan, the ballet "Swan Lake" at the State Academic Theater Alisher Navoi.
The production of a series of performances with typhlo-kommentation will continue in the new year.
According to the press service of the Tashkent Khokimiyat, in January, screenings of "Morozko" are planned at the Youth Theater of Uzbekistan, "The Return of the Nutcracker" - at the Alisher Navoi State Academic Theater, "Cinderella" - at the Fergana Regional Russian Drama Theater.
