The visit was organized with the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in this country, the Dune news agency reports.
During the trip, the Uzbek delegation got acquainted with the production process of high-quality and in-demand pharmaceutical products produced by the leading biopharmaceutical Egyptian company Minapharm. The delegation also explored the company's capabilities and potential.
During the negotiations with the management of Minapharm, prospects for cooperation were discussed.
As part of the agreements reached, at the first stage, in mid-February of this year, specialists from the Egyptian company will be sent to Uzbekistan to study the pharmaceutical market, prepare relevant projects, as well as hire local workers and improve their skills in order to establish drug production in the Parkent FEZ in the Tashkent region.
At the next stage, the Egyptian company plans to introduce advanced technologies, open a distribution center, register its drugs in Uzbekistan, localize their production, and launch and export products to international markets.
