The main
purpose of the meeting was to discuss topical issues of the pharmaceutical
industry development, identify existing problems, and consider proposals and
initiatives to address them.
During the
dialogue, the participants discussed issues of strengthening cooperation
between science, education and innovation in the pharmaceutical sector,
increasing the effectiveness of scientific research, introducing domestic
developments into practice, supporting young professionals and implementing
promising projects.
Special
attention was paid to the training of highly qualified personnel, the
development of biotechnologies and the creation of conditions for the active
participation of young scientists in scientific and innovative activities.
Following
the meeting, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and the
Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry signed a
Memorandum of Cooperation.
The
document provides for the expansion of cooperation in the field of integration
of science, education and innovation, support for research projects, training
of a new generation of specialists for the pharmaceutical industry, as well as
the development of promising areas in the field of biotechnology and
pharmaceuticals.
