Films from the festival program will be shown at the Premier Cinema in London from May 19 to 25. Then the winner of the festival will be chosen from among the films shown.
"On the Silk Road" was filmed as part of the project for young directors "Cinema in 5 days", included in the program of the Tashkent International Film Festival "Pearl of the Silk Road". He became the winner of the festival in the nominations "Grand Prix" and "Best Male Role".
In addition, the film became the winner in the nomination "Best Asian Short Film" at the AWFF-2021 ("Asian World Film Festival"), which was held in Los Angeles.
The screenplay was written by Shokhzhakhon Subkhonov, directed by Sherzod Nazarov, cinematographer Diyor Ismatov, artist Erkin Kholmatov, artistic director Ali Khamraev, the information service of the Cinematography Agency reports.
