The forum was attended by the Executive Director of the El-yurt Umidi Foundation, Professor Gulnoza Ismailova.

The conference was held under the motto "Leading the Way: Navigating Volatility and New Realities in International Education" and brought together heads of universities, international offices and educational organizations from around the world.

During more than 100 sessions and round tables, participants discussed key challenges of the current stage — the impact of geopolitical factors on academic mobility, the transformation of global partnership models, the development of strategic international positioning of universities, as well as the introduction of artificial intelligence and new technologies in educational processes.

Special attention was paid to the issues of rethinking institutional strategies in the context of political and regulatory changes, the formation of flexible and entrepreneurial leadership in international education, the use of artificial intelligence in academic mobility, partnerships and management of educational processes.

Paulo Zagalo-Melo, President of AIEA, PhD, and graduate of Harvard University, delivered a keynote speech at the opening ceremony. In his speech, he identified priority areas for the development of international cooperation and emphasized the important role of the AIEA platform in shaping innovative educational ecosystems.

During the speech, special attention was paid to the Republic of Uzbekistan. Paulo Zagalo-Melo supported strategic initiatives aimed at transforming the country's education system and its active integration into the global academic community. He also praised the efforts of Uzbekistan's educational institutions to expand international cooperation.

The participation of the El-Yurt Umidi Foundation in the AIEA conference made it possible to strengthen international contacts, exchange experiences with leading experts, and discuss prospects for expanding strategic partnerships with foreign universities.

In particular, following a meeting between Gulnoza Ismailova, Executive Director of the El-Yurt Umidi Foundation, and Jason Chizh, President of the Institute of International Education (IIE), a memorandum of understanding was signed. According to the document, an agreement was reached to launch a joint educational program within the framework of the Fulbright scholarship program and implement it through the foundation for cooperation between universities of Uzbekistan and the United States on dual degree programs.

Along with this, meetings were held with representatives of the Union of Universities of the State of New York (SUNY), the Texas International Educational Consortium (TIEC), as well as the organizations PeopleCert, QS, IELTS USA and TOEFL, where issues of cooperation, such as expanding educational opportunities and professional development of the youth of Uzbekistan, were discussed.

During the negotiations with representatives of the Polytechnic University of Milan, the University of Maryland, Pennsylvania State University and the University of Illinois, the possibilities of cooperation in the field of personnel training for the technical and mining industries, the organization of training courses on cybersecurity, land resources, fisheries, agriculture and irrigation, as well as in the fields of medicine and urban planning were considered.

The Foundation continues its systematic work on the integration of Uzbekistan into the global educational space and the development of international academic relations within the framework of government policy priorities to strengthen human capital.
