Uzbek Foreign Minister accepts copies of credentials from new French Ambassador

    On September 4, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, received copies of credentials from the newly appointed French Ambassador to Tashkent, Walid Foque.

    According to the Foreign Minister, Uzbek-French relations, which have a solid historical foundation, have gained unprecedented momentum in recent years and have been elevated to the level of strategic partnership. Today, cooperation covers all areas, from economics to culture.

    At the same time, there remains significant potential for further strengthening cooperation, the implementation of which requires the combined efforts of the diplomats of the two countries.

    The Minister wished Mr. Foque successful and fruitful work in Uzbekistan.
