On April 7, 2025, the minor, accompanied by his uncle, left for Kazakhstan, suspending his studies in order to provide financial support to the family. However, on May 2, he was discovered on the territory of a neighboring State without parental care and placed in a social assistance institution.
According to Kazakh legislation, only his parents have the right to take a minor from such institutions.
Based on the intervention of the National Agency for Social Protection under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on May 20, the child was brought to Uzbekistan and handed over to his mother.
Currently, he is receiving assistance at his place of residence - rehabilitation and social support measures are provided.
Since the beginning of 2025, 12 minors left without parental supervision have already been returned from Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan. Five more are in the process of being returned with the assistance of government agencies.
