Projects worth $6.1 billion are planned in Jizzakh

    Over the past five years, investments worth over $4 billion have been attracted to Jizzakh region. Industrial production amounted to 50 trillion UZS, and exports worth $861 million were carried out.

    This year, 400 projects worth $2 billion are being implemented in the region, creating 11,000 new jobs.

    New plans were presented to the Head of state. Foreign investors and local entrepreneurs have declared their readiness to implement 50 projects worth $6 billion 100 million.

    The projects cover in-demand industries such as mining, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, chemistry, textile and food, agriculture, medicine, and pharmaceuticals. It is essential that almost 20,000 new jobs will be created as a result of these projects.

    The President wished investors success in implementing their projects. Responsible persons have been instructed to implement projects under special control.
