Karelia plans to supply outdoor exercise equipment to Tashkent

    On October 23, a meeting was held between the khokim of Tashkent Shavkat Umurzakov and the head of the Republic of Karelia Artur Parfenchikov. The main focus was on strengthening regional cooperation and prospects for joint projects.

    Shavkat Umurzakov expressed satisfaction with the meeting, noting the growing interest of foreign countries in the development of Tashkent. He stressed the importance of existing joint ventures and new projects aimed at renovation, improvement of transport infrastructure, as well as providing schools and kindergartens with centralized and high-quality meals.

    During the conversation, Umurzakov spoke about the potential of JSC Toshkent Invest Companyasi and expressed readiness to deepen cooperation.

    Artur Parfenchikov, for his part, wished further success to Tashkent, noting the significant changes that have taken place in the city in recent years. He stressed the growing interest in the capital of Uzbekistan from tourists, as well as representatives of official and business circles. The Head of Karelia proposed initiatives related to the development of public spaces, the installation of outdoor simulators and the creation of specialized parks for people with disabilities. In addition, issues of supply of building materials, including crushed stone, building stone and unique shungite, were discussed.

    Shavkat Umurzakov noted the importance of creating an inclusive urban environment and localization of industrial enterprises, emphasizing the fruitfulness of the proposals voiced during the meeting.

    The meeting demonstrated the potential mutual willingness of the parties to cooperate and implement initiatives that contribute to the sustainable development of the regions.
